Featuring multiple straight flutes designed for machining longer threads in small to large diameters, Carmex Precision Tools Slim MT inserts and toolholders deliver high productivity for a lower price. Constructed of an advanced carbide and coating combination for extended tool life, most of the inserts are double sided.

To prevent threading chips from ruining critical parts in the final phases of production, the advanced coating and tool geometry of the new TTP2050 threading insert grade from Seco Tools combine to provide efficient, secure, stable performance, along with effective chip control.

Allied Machine & Engineering adds the AccuThread T3 to their existing thread mill line. The new AccuThread T3 is built for machining hardened or hard-to-machine materials, such as stainless steel, tool steel and high-temperature alloys.

Seco Tools adapted its line of reliable, accurate thread chaser holders to support Steadyline vibration damping bars and Capto tooling. With special carbide-pin locating systems, patented pocket seat surface patterns and high-pressure coolant delivery, these holders reportedly guarantee consistent insert positioning, superior rigidity and effective chip evacuation.

Tool-Flo is now offering solid-carbide thread mills with helical flutes and through coolant. The company offers a wide array of thread forms including 60° V-threads, BSPT, ISO, MJ, NPSF, NPT, NPTF, UN and Whitworth threads.
