Vises

Pin Vises

Pin Vises have a small footprint, allowing room for more parts on a table resulting in increased throughput.  Pin Vises are also lightweight making them ideal for automated applications where weight is a consideration.

TANDEM PGS3 Vise

The pneumatically operated clamping force block SCHUNK TANDEM PGS3-LH 100 can be directly mounted on machine tables, dividing heads or VERO-S NSL 150 clamping stations of machining centers via an integrated flange. Its extremely compact design and square shape ensures optimum accessibility and enables a considerable stroke of 6 mm per jaw. With a clamping force of 4,500 N and a repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm, the low-maintenance SCHUNK TANDEM PGS3 is particularly suitable for basic applications in aluminum and plastics machining.

DX8 CrossOver Vise

DX8, DX6 and DX4 vises were designed using Finite Element Analysis—providing 30% less horizontal push-back deflection than previous DX models. Less vise-body deflection translates to more stability and a lifetime of dimensional precision—setting a new standard in precision flatness, parallelism and repeatability. The DX8 CrossOver® vise features the same bed height and keyway to the stationary jaw face as the D810. The DX8 also features a redesigned nut with less weight, a new brush seal design, and a larger stronger bearing pack for more durability.

Fixture Pro modular Dovetail Vises and Adapter Bases

Two of the three new vises are engineered to use with Jergens Quick-Loc™ pallet system and include industry standard patterns 52mm and 96mm. With a single drive screw, Quick-Loc™ provides fast and repeatable fixture changes for small tooling platforms. A square aluminum adapter base provides the connection to either of the two patterns. The third vise features a Quick Locating System (QLS) mount, for column-mounting possibilities, and a corresponding round adapter base for this type of workholding.

KONTEC KSC Mini Small Parts Vise

The KONTEC KSC mini is the vise of choice for flexible use in efficient blank and finish part machining. Conversion on a larger clamping range is even possible without requiring additional accessories. Different jaw widths of 45 and 70 mm can be used on the same basic vise, allowing optimal adjustment to different clamping tasks.

Dual Force Precision CNC Machine Vises

The family of vises is ideal for applications requiring multiple vises to be mounted parallel to each other. Versatile, the vises can be mounted on their base or bottom or vertically positioned on their end. The vises are equipped with Palmgren’s Dual Force so as to deliver workholding efficiencies by providing the strength and rigidity to hold parts securely and accurately.

AV-T-4 Table Vise

A key benefit of this vise is the simple solution it provides for integrating automated machine tending into your machine shop. Air Vise offers an electric kit that allows a cobot/robot the ability to open and close the vise by controlling the air flow. By controlling the vise the robot can place intricate and uniquely shaped parts at ease. The table vise is equipped with quick change jaws that allow jobs to be switched in a breeze. A job can be switched over in a matter of minutes by simply selecting the new jaws and mill program.

Precision Force 5-Axis MaxLock Vise Lineup

Kurt’s PF 420, PF 440 and PF 460 vises come with standard 4-inch jaw width and jaw openings ranging from 2.625” to 6.625” making them the perfect vise for any customer’s workholding applications. PF-series vises replace the previous Kurt HP models and feature the patented AngLock® design to minimize jaw lift and deflection. The proven AngLock® design naturally pushes the vise jaws down and forward allowing much greater surface contact on parts—maximizing holding strength with less clamp force.

2-Jaw Module

The 2-jaw module can handle turning applications up to 1,500 RPM. Due to its compact profile, it is the perfect alternative to large and heavy centric vises. The 2-jaw and 3-jaw module use the HAINBUCH collet chuck as their base. Change-over is possible without removing the collet chuck and realignment thanks to HAINBUCH’s Centrex quick-change interface.
