The Kurt pyramid workholding bundles facilitate clamping of three individual components in one fixture and completed in a single setup. The Kurt 45-degree design mounting surface is positioned so each vise provides maximum access to all machined surfaces and allows for enhanced spindle and cutting tool clearance.

Last year the Hoffmann Group presented the Garant Xtric centering vice with clamping jaw quick-change system in line with the “Click&Clamp” principle. From April 2020, the small powerhouse, which acts directly on the component with up to 25 kN clamping force and hardly creates any jaw and component lift-off, will also be available with a center jaw.

Designed differently than conventional-style vises, Palmgren’s combination anvil and bench vise features a horn, step, a hardened face and hardy hole. It comes with replaceable serrated jaws, pipe jaws and a precision machined slide bar.

In response to high demand, Schunk has increased its product line of power-amplified 5-axis vises, which are now equipped with an adjustable center. The maintenance-free Schunk Kontec KSX-C is now available in four base body lengths (330 mm, 430 mm, 500 mm and 630 mm) and two heights (174 mm and 125 mm).

Hoffmann Group USA announces the new centering vise called the GARANT Xtric. The vice is equipped with a new chuck jaw quick-change system, which enables easy, tool-free changeover. A click mechanism gives the vise an interchange accuracy in the micrometer range. Top jaws, which can be rotated by 180 degrees, allow for a large clamping range and high variability when fixing components. And clamping using multiple GARANT Xtrics is not a problem, the center can be adjusted precisely to achieve top precision.

The uniquely shaped combination bench and pipe vises from Palmgren feature a straight line pull design and super strong power tunnel to assure that the spindle and nut never wear out. As a result, this design delivers increased clamping power and reduced drag enabling the vise to easily open and close.

Wilton has introduced a new version of its iconic Tradesman bench vise, which features a fully sealed, one-piece spindle nut assembly; redesigned spindle assembly with replaceable Tommy bar; precision machined slide; and machined steel serrated jaw inserts with black phosphate, anticorrosion coating.
