Continental Casting LLCWith new ownership, governance, investment, leadership and professional manufacturing focus, Continental Casting LLC, Monroe City, Mo., has become Arcadia Metalcraft, a manufacturer of lighter die cast and precision-machined components for automotive and other industries.

“Our new name reflects our new outlook and will herald to customers and the market that Continental has become a different and better company. A deeply committed workforce with a renewed company culture, Arcadia Metalcraft’s mission is to be a valuable and reliable partner that can be counted on to deliver best-in-class die cast components at competitive prices,” said Graham Furse, vice chairman, Arcadia Metalcraft. “We’ve collectively developed a go-to-market strategy that uniquely positions Arcadia Metalcraft to carry forward the experience of the past with a vision focused on meeting the tough requirements for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.”

The name, Arcadia Metalcraft, was selected to reflect both a nod to sustainability through the pastoral connotations of Arcadia and to an underlying commitment to the delivery of quality work associated with a craftsman.

The new logo mark utilizes a custom, upper-case, sans-serif font with crisp, pointed edges for a precision-machined look that speaks to quality. The dark blue is associated with dependability while the green accent symbolizes sustainability.

Under the new Arcadia Metalcraft name, services will continue to focus on die casting for a variety of lightweight metal alloys – including zinc, aluminum and magnesium components – precision machining, engineering, tool development and medium-to-light assembly.

“We intend to build on our heritage yet up our game as a competitive, reliable supplier to meet the performance and quality requirements of the automotive and technology industries.  It comes down to setting higher standards for ourselves,” said Furse.

Coinciding with the new name and logo, the new Arcadia Metalcraft website launched on March 14. The company’s website has been redesigned to reflect Arcadia Metalcraft’s new brand and quality focus.
