Sandvik joins AIA

Sandvik Coromant is one of the newest members of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), alongside other aerospace and defense leaders who are forging a path for success in aerospace manufacturing. AIA has served as a voice for the aircraft, space and defense industries for more than a century.

An AIA association membership allows Sandvik Coromant to stay connected to changes and have a seat at the table in the aerospace manufacturing industry. Sandvik Coromant also gains access to exclusive reports, findings and networking opportunities through its membership. AIA offers resources and connections to its members, including security and compliance standards, the latest industry research and legislative support, so that members can stay at the forefront of regulatory changes.

Additional membership benefits include:

  • B2B interactions and engagement with industry thought leaders at AIA’s Supplier Management Council (SMC) meetings and member-only webinars
  • Access to AIA’s experienced professional staff for assistance with industry research, personalized briefings and legislative strategy
  • Opportunities to participate in many of AIA’s corporate events

“We’re looking forward to working with AIA and its partners to continue conducting industry research on aerospace and defense and advocating for issues related to civil aviation, space and more,” said Travis Vaught, industry segment business development director at Sandvik Coromant. “Through our membership with AIA, we hope to gain valuable insights into topics like sustainable aviation, national aerospace standards and digital engineering transformation.”

Through its AIA membership, Sandvik Coromant looks to build upon its existing component feature solutions offering for the aerospace industry, including tools and solutions for engines, frames and structural components, in-depth application know-how, strong R&D and close cooperation with both customers and machine builders in the industry.
