Stellar Industrial Supply Inc., 3M Co. save joint customers millions of dollars

Stellar Industrial Supply Inc., Tacoma, Wash., named partner 3M Co., St. Paul, Minn., the winner of its Documented Cost Savings “Horse Race” Winner of the Year Award for 2017. The Horse Race Award recognizes partners like 3M who work closely with Stellar Industrial Supply to help joint customers reduce or eliminate plant and production inefficiencies. In 2017 3M and Stellar Industrial Supply saved joint customers more than $5.3 million in documented cost savings. Sandvik Coromant, who worked with Stellar to save joint customers more than $3.1 million in documented cost savings in 2017, was named 2nd place winner.

Combined, Stellar Industrial Supply and all its partners combined saved joint customers more than $17.5 million in documented cost savings in 2017.

In addition to the work accomplished with 3M and Sandvik Coromant, we are ecstatic to report that last year combined, Stellar Industrial Supply and its partners generated more than $17.5 million combined in customer approved document cost savings,” said Stellar Industrial Supply President and CEO John S.
