Heavy-Duty Workholding

For larger, heavier work pieces, requiring beefier locating and clamping hardware, STEVENS Engineering Inc. offers its heavy-duty workholding system. It uses .750-10 fasteners and .750 diameter locating hardware in contrast to the standard .500-13 and .500 diameter holding and locating elements.

STEVENS builds tombstones, two-sided angle plates, angle plates for horizontal spindle applications and subplates for vertical spindle machines, sized to meet customer needs. Heavy-duty accessories are available for locating and workholding — vises, vee blocks, chain clamps, parallels, and a range of locating elements, designed to mount on the primary components.
