MU-Series

The Okuma MU-Series brings abundant power to the 5-axis design. A fixed spindle and trunnion table make for a powerful 5-axis design, making the MU-Series the optimum in performance and versatility. Improved rigidity, reduced set-ups and simultaneous 5-axis machining allow for efficient, accurate creation of a wide range of precision-crafted components.

Built on Okuma's Thermal-Friendly Concept, these machines allow for quicker cycle start times (no more waiting for the machine to warm up) and automatically compensate for thermal deformation, ensuring high accuracy and tight tolerances. These machines have been used in a variety of industries and have cut parts ranging from medical implants to impellers and engine parts.

Available in 2 sizes (MU-400V and MU-500V) the MU series features the operator-friendly THINC-OSP control — a true PC, Windows-based platform with open architecture, plug and play USB capability and 40GB of memory allowing easy connectivity of complementary and peripheral equipment.
