Pico Series Laser

August 01, 2015

The new affordable laser named thePico series, designed and manufactured by Bright Solutions, has novel pulsewidths and SLM output for micromachining, ablation, scribing, lidar, non-linear optics and many other industrial, medical, military and R&D tasks.

The Pico delivers 10W of TEMoo (M2 <1.3) 1064nm with 150 picosecond pulses at up to 300 kHz. The output is single longitudinal mode with 10pm linewidth. The laser requires 24V DC input and tap water is used to cool the base. The laser is 35 x 42 x 12 cm3 (14 x 16.5 x 4.7 inches).

As the lasers are built, the fixed pulsewidth can be set a little longer or shorter, from ~100 ps to about 250 ps. The company can perform quick applications tests and return material for evaluation.

In addition to the 1064 nm laser, the Pico is available at 532, 355 and 266 nm with an industrial warranty; even the 1W @ 266 nm enjoys an industrial warranty.
