PowerMAX 365 Flood Lamp

Spectroline offers its network of global distributors the Rolls Royce-compliant PowerMAX 365 (PM-1600SBLC) UV-A LED panel flood lamp for NDT technicians requiring an extensive coverage area. This new lamp is specifically engineered to meet Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 requirements.

The PowerMAX 365 puts the max in maximum. It features a panel of 16 powerful UV-A (365 nm) LEDs specially engineered for non-destructive testing applications. The lamp has a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of less than 5,000 μW/cm2 at 15 inches (38 cm), while projecting a large coverage area of 13 x 4 inch (33 cm x 10 cm) with a minimum UV-A intensity of 2,500 μW/cm2. Visible light emission is less than 0.5 foot-candle (5 lux). Long-lasting UV-A lenses come standard to reduce the rate of solarization.

The PowerMAX 365 comes with built-in fans to maintain optimum light output. When the lamp’s thermal cut-off circuitry “senses” an overage in internal temperature, it trips, never letting the lamp go out of Rolls Royce RRES specifications. A certificate of compliance and a full serialized validation report for both output and wavelength measurements are supplied with each unit. The lamp meets ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for FPI and MPI.

The PowerMAX 365 can be installed overhead or in-line. Multiple units can be “ganged” together longitudinally or back-to-back for a larger coverage area, to meet your specific inspection requirements.  The new lamp is ideal for NDT inspection booths, fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection, screening of fluorescent particles, wash station inspection and many other applications that require maximum uniformity of UV-A coverage over a large area.
