Forkardt Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the HWC hydraulic actuating cylinder. This new line of cylinders is designed to directly replace many of the current European brand cylinders, but with a lower price, higher rpm capability and higher operating pressures, according to the company.
The HWC features a simple inlet design, constant hydraulic flow, provision for coolant-through with a rotating union and a proximity switch or linear system stroke control. Also, it also features standard built-in trapping, which keeps the cylinder in its extended or retracted state for a period of time in the event of a hydraulic failure. The product is currently stocked in sizes 85mm and 125mm and is available for immediate delivery from the Traverse City, Mich., plant.
