Brian Samson, North American Managing Director for LK Metrology is announcing a special CMM Assistance Program they have developed to support medical equipment manufacturers. Brian Samson explains, “We understand that medical equipment manufactures today are critical in helping to provide valuable components, products and systems to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority are still in production and typically require the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to measure, reverse engineer and assure the quality of many complex and precision parts. For that reason, we are reaching out to them with a series of services that we feel can be of assistance during these anxious times. At our location here in Michigan we are complying with the required stay-at-home order, but we have put in place a workplan to support our customers and field service operations, with targeted emphasis on medical equipment manufacturers. - Use of LK Measuring Services Department that is certified ISO17025 for calibration for a wide range of services including contract measuring of low to medium quantities of production parts.
