Operating at the optimum temperature range of 200° – 210°F as the original Tru Temp XL, TRU TEMP 2nd GEN makes it easy to use in-house and operator friendly. The chemistry is easy to manage and contains no EPA regulated metals, so rinse waters are generally sewerable by neutralizing the pH with a typical discharge range of pH 7-11. Additionally, reaching this pH range takes only 20% of the acid than other processes. Since TRU TEMP 2nd GEN requires no effluent treatment, the initial capital investment is only about half of other blackening finishes.

The machine's repeatability and top quality result from a pure atmosphere during printing, a consistently low-oxygen environment with fewer than 25 parts per million. This solution ensures excellent microstructures, very high material density and stable mechanical properties.

As with all of GF Machining Solutions' LASER machines, the LASER P 400 series offers repeatable high performance, consistent accuracy and unvarying quality. Fully digitized texturing makes it easy to texture, mark, engrave and add functional surfaces to parts, molds and dies, even when dealing with complex 3D parts.

For example, the second and third flood tanks are warmed by heat recovered from the distillation process. Among other things, this has led to a significant reduction in energy consumption. Thanks to the efficient distillation process, the machine also has impressively low solvent requirements. This has been attained by installing the distillation unit in a vertical position, which requires hardly any mounting fixtures.

Even with its drawbacks, laser machining will continue to find new industrial applications.

VpCI-369 is an oil-based temporary coating that provides extreme corrosion protection in aggressive environments and is one of Cortec's most-popular wet film corrosion inhibitors. It is an excellent option for protecting auto service parts and heavy equipment components before assembly. Since VpCI-369 is thixotropic, it can be mixed so that the product changes consistency to enhance sprayability for application with an airless sprayer. Once applied, it thickens so that it does not run off the metal. VpCI-369 can be tinted to blue, green, or other custom colors if desired to help workers detect sufficient product coverage.

Drag finishing system doubles stamping tool life

The M12 Compact Spot Blower features a compact axial-fan design, providing the best combination of power and run-time with 175 CFM and 110 MPH of air speed. RoboMate LaserEtch is an integrated laser system that can be added to the ANCA RoboMate loader for the TX and MX platforms, allowing laser marking of individual tools in-process. An automatic stand-alone laser marking station, the AutoMarkX is the latest addition to ANCA's family of tool production solutions. The operator simply loads up to two full pallets of tools and the robot performs the laser marking operations, freeing up staff to take care of other tasks in the factory.
