With the Lumoscope-R, RJL Micro & Analytic GmbH will introduce a new digital microscope for Raman laser spectroscopy. It has been developed especially to identify organic and mineral contaminant particles and liquid film and grease contamination. The well-integrated optical microscope with reflective illumination allows to position the particles and samples under the laser beam centre precisely.
The acquisition of the Raman spectra is fully automated. Other highlights of the new microscope are two maintenance-free laser sources (NIR 785nm, 1064nm), an optical microscope with manual X-Y stage and up to four objective lenses, a material database with automated spectrum search and control software for a 64-bit Windows PC.
