Tune-Up Kits for Foredom Motors

Foredom introduces four new Tune-Up Kits for current and discontinued motors. Foredom makes flexible-shaft machines that are built to industrial standards and last for many years, sometimes even decades. It is not uncommon to “tune-up“ old Foredom tools from the 1960s and earlier for continued operation.

The introduction of all-inclusive Tune-Up Kits is the company’s latest step in product support. Tune-Up Kits include items to keep motors and handpieces running at peak performance. They can even transform old, discontinued or worn machines into ones that run like new.

Four dedicated kits are configured to accommodate Foredom’s line: 1. Kit MSP10 for Series TX and LX motors, 2. Kit MSP12 for Series SR motors (models produced since 2005), 3. Kit MSP14 for old and discontinued Series CC motors, and 4. Kit MSP16 for old and discontinued Series S and SR motors (1/8-HP models produced before 2005).
32-piece Tune-Up Kits have a $68 MSRP and retail value over $83.

Parts include shaft, sheath, motor brushes and brush caps, hanging bale, motor connector, and 3 types of screws for holding different parts in place. There’s also shaft grease and a small screwdriver. Parts for Foredom’s two most popular handpieces – the chuck style H.30 and collet style H.44T – include ball bearings, catch balls, a spring clip, handpiece grip, chuck key, and pin and wrench assembly.
