ARCH announces the acquisition of Siem Tool
ARCH, a Jordan Company platform company that is focused on manufacturing precision cutting tools, precision machined components and medical implants and instruments, has acquired Siem Tool Co., Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Siem Tool is a manufacturer of customized solid-carbide drills, endmills, reamers, thread mills and form tools. Siem Tool will join ARCH's Cutting Tools division.

ISO Positive Turning Inserts in -01 Geometry
Tungaloy enhances its ISO positive turning inserts in "-01" geometry to include a 0.4 mm (0.0157") nose radius prepared in a minus tolerance specifically for precision finishing in Swiss turning applications. The new -01 geometry is designed to deliver consistent chip control at extremely light cutting depths of 0.5 mm (0.020") or smaller.
T9200 CVD Grade Insert Series
Tungaloy is expanding its T9200 CVD grade insert series to include T9205 and T9235 grades as well as the -TSF and -TM style chipbreakers to conquer steel turning markets.
