Starrett Invites IMTS Attendees to Try New, Innovative Touch Screen Indicator
Two W4900 Indicators will be available for attendees to use firsthand and experience the simple navigation. Also, a bank of W4900 Indicators shown in a variety of configurations will be continuously taking measurements of a rotating crankshaft. Supporting Industry 4.0, IoT and the Digital Factory, all of the W4900 Indicators will be integrated with the Starrett DataSure® 4.0 Wireless Data Collection System for automated wireless measurement data capture and transmission.
Starrett W4900 Indicator
Supporting Industry 4.0, IoT and the Digital Factory, all of the W4900 Indicators will be integrated with the Starrett DataSure 4.0 Wireless Data Collection System for automated wireless measurement data capture and transmission. Attendees can collect and transmit measurement data instantly for analysis to Starrett associates in the booth who will be running the DataSure mobile application, and be available to review the results and discuss any specific application requirements and questions.

UltraTEC Ultrasonic A25 Deburring Machine
The UltraTEC ultrasonic A25 creates a formation and dissolution/implosion of bubbles in water that release an intense energy during implosion. This is created by an ultra-high oscillation of 20kHz (20,000 oscillations per second) with an oscillation width of +/-80-120microns, which far exceeds the amplitude of ultrasonic cleaning, cutting and welding technologies.
QCPSS Heavy Duty Sliding Locks
Two tip types of the QCPSS are available: A flat tip that helps minimize damage to an object, and a diamond-surface tip that provides high holding force. Both versions provide 247 lb. clamping force. The clamp body is made from 303 stainless steel. The handle is made from 304 stainless steel. The sliding locks are supplied with two M4 socket head screws for mounting.
CUT S 400 Dedicated
For faster, easier cleaning, the casting of the CUT 400 S Dedicated is designed so that tank water constantly runs down the interior sides of the work envelope, keeping them wet and preventing EDM residue from drying and hardening. This sticky residue also plays havoc with an EDM's filter and drive systems. To prevent the residue from making its way inside these systems, water also constantly circulates through the new machine's upper and lower heads.
