The improved zirconia alumina and aluminum oxide blending discs also deliver better performance and product life. In addition, the expanded blending disc portfolio provides more connection types, with all of the grain options in the lineup now available in Type S and Type R connections. All the discs are now available with a resin fiber or cloth backing. The resin fiber backing helps reduce the pressure an operator must apply to the disc to maximize the cut rate. It also helps retain the grain on the disc, increasing disc life. The cloth backing offers a more comfortable disc that gives the operator greater control of material removal. The Weiler Abrasives blending disc portfolio also includes a line of aluminum discs that remains unchanged.

Key to the Electrak LL's long-life architecture is a brushless motor, a high-load ball screw assembly, a brake solution that does not wear, and IP69K (static) and IP66 (dynamic) compliant sealing. This combination enables duty cycles of up to 100 percent, up to 600 km of travel life, and up to one million cycles – more than ten times that of electromechanical actuators without these features. The new configuration options for the Electrak LL augment its industry leading durability with advanced control, integration, higher voltage and higher speed options.

The flat clamping fastener, with machining spacing tolerance of ±0.1 and repeatability of ±0.3, is made to pair with a locking receptacle, which is available separately. Plate thickness of 6 mm or more can be used with the fastener and receptacle. A clamping and holding force as high as 6.7 lb. (30N) can be achieved.
