OSG high-feed, three-flute carbide coolant-through drill
The A Brand ADO-TRS from OSG USA Inc. is a high-feed, three-flute carbide coolant-through drill. Patented geometry permits stable chip ejection even with less chip pocket space, which is inherent in three-flute drills. The result is up to three times faster speed than two-flute drills and up to three times longer tool life. The video illustrates the advantages and shows the tool in action.
UNISIG highlights benefits of trepanning
UNISIG, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, demonstrates why trepanning is beneficial when drilling deep holes that are too large for high-pressure coolant drills or gundrills. Utilized in the aerospace, defense, material production, as well as oil and gas industries, trepanning reportedly offers higher productivity in many applications and uses less power than other drilling strategies.
Walter DC160 X∙treme Evo Advance solid carbide drill
The DC160 carbide drill features exceptional positioning accuracy. This is achieved with its innovative thin web at the point and rapid guidance in the hole due to the advanced positioning of the double margins.
