Osborn introduced its new line of abrasive products. The new line includes depressed-center grinding discs, cut-off discs and flap discs. All products are produced in Osborn’s new manufacturing facility in Germany.

Walter Surface Technologies aims to enhance blending and finishing processes in metalworking shops with its new Blendex U Turbo blending disc. The disc was constructed using a heat-resistant non-woven matrix, which helps it to provide a more consistent finish without smearing.

Titan Tool Supply Inc. announces the introduction of a line of micro diamond and borazon grinding pins designed to meet an increasing demand for extremely small, precision ID grinding. The grinding pins, starting at a 0.016” diameter, are on a carbide shank, which provides extra strength and precision.

Peddinghaus Corp. offers new AGTOS shot-blast machines, which are precisely designed and manufactured in Germany. This kind of machines is used for cleaning, roughening, shot peening or the finishing of part surfaces.

The LUMICLAD finish from Birchwood Technologies forms a nearly non-dimensional black oxide finish on all aluminum surfaces. LUMICLAD is very durable, clean and tightly adherent to the metal substrate.

In virtually all technical fields, the requirements placed on the quality of individual components are increasing. Walter Surface Technologies introduced the new and improved Topcut sanding disc. The Topcut sanding disc now features a new formulation of blue zirconium grain blend to remove more material, faster, according to the company.

Guyson’s model RXS-400 (rotary index, twin spindle) machine, designed for cellular manufacturing, is a platform to use for building a precise robotic grit blaster. The Expanded version utilizes a FANUC M710 Robot which carries a bank of (8) Guyson Model 900 guns, mounted in a custom designed heavy duty cabinet with powered sliding door.
