PI released a new precision feedback option for its linear stages equipped with direct-drive ironless 3-phase motors. The V-551 family of ultraprecision positioning stages models is equipped with precision crossed roller bearings featuring anticreep cage assist and excellent guiding accuracy (1µm straightness / flatness per 100mm).

JW Winco Inc. offers GN 852.3 steel and stainless steel latch-type toggle clamps, heavy duty type, with safety hook. The latch-type toggle clamps, which are RoHS compliant, are compact in design and can be used to ensure high holding capacities.

Gliding e-chain cable carriers are typically used for travel lengths between 33 and 164 feet. However, more demanding requirements are currently being placed on these e-chain systems. The required dynamics of the systems are intensifying, and the loads that the chains must handle are increasing. This can cause gliding systems to reach their physical limits. For example, if the cycle rates of machines increase, energy chains must move faster as a result. Therefore, igus has expanded the standard modular system of the E4.1 e-chain series by adding new roller links.

With the usability of 6-axis hexapods increasing in research and industry applications, PI introduces a new medium-load 6-axis precision motion platform, the H-825 hexapod. The H-825 provides a self-locking load capacity up to 30 kg (66 lbs).

The new range of heavy-duty castors from WDS Component Parts Ltd. make it easier to reposition or move large and weighty items such as trolleys, flight cases, machinery, displays and audio-visual equipment. The castors are available in a number of sizes to support varying weights and feature polyurethane wheels for quiet operation.

The new frameless motor kits from Maxon consist of only a rotor and stator – with no bearings or motor shaft. With outer diameters of only 43 to 90 mm, these pancake servo motor kits are extremely compact.

Available from igus is a new, unique strain relief for e-chains: the honeycomb strain relief CFU. The strain relief system replaces commonly used cable tie-wraps and other strain relief solutions.
