Machining Center/Vertical

MCR-BV Machining Center

Designed as a machine for 5-face machining applications, the MCR-BV is also capable of 5-axis contouring as well as 5-sided heavy milling applications. These heavy-duty applications are made possible through features such as a powerful integral motor and spindle, an expanded work envelope, and a very rigid table which is 30% thicker than previous models, all of which is ideal for large-part machining. An abundant range of attachment heads are compatible with the machine, allowing for a wide range of unique part shapes to be created, as well as many multitasking machining functions to be performed.

MVR-Hx Series of Double-Column Machining Centers

The MVR-Hx series was developed based on the concept of a machine that is easy to use without thermal displacement for users who pursue high precision and high efficiency. It is equipped with thorough thermal countermeasures, such as an internal spindle cooling system that suppresses thermal expansion of the spindle and the main structure that is less susceptible to environmental temperature changes. It can also be used for a wide range of processes, from dies and molds or other machining that require high surface quality to general parts machining, and for all types of materials from light to heavy cutting.

MVR-Cx Series Double-Column Machining Centers

The MVR-Cx series is a simple, easy-to-use machine that efficiently performs single-item and high-mix low-volume production in machining general large parts such as can structures. The newly developed "Nidec Navi" operation support function, which significantly reduces the production time from receiving a job to shipping a product, comes as a standard feature. A wide variety of original screens are available to simplify initial machining settings, such as program creation, debugging, and centering of the workpiece before machining, which used to be time-consuming in one-product and high-mix low-volume productions.

Microlution ML-5

The Microlution ML-5 is optimized for micro-scale holemaking and fine cutting, which it performs without creating any heat-affected zones. The machine’s compact, high- performance, ultrafast femto laser reduces cycle times and tooling costs to enable the production of precision parts in seconds.

MPower Customer Support Program

Through Mazak’s eight Technology Centers and five Technical Centers located throughout North America, the MPower program also gives customers convenient and local access to additional support. The centers are a place for advanced applications support, education and training, new technology demonstrations and special manufacturing events

G750 5-axis Universal Machining Center

The G750’s unique machine concept includes a horizontal spindle position that permits the longest possible Z-travel path and optimum chip fall. The arrangement of the three linear axes offers maximum stability by minimizing the distance between the guides and the machining point (TCP). The G750’s tunnel concept allows the largest possible component to be swiveled and machined within the work area without collision – even with extremely long tools. Three linear and two rotary axes permit 5-sided machining, as well as 5-axis simultaneous interpolation, with a swivel range of 230 degrees in the A-axis and 360 degrees in the B-axis.

PJ 303X 5-Axis Machining Center

The machine’s X-, Y-, and Z-axis travels are 300mm, 325mm, and 200 mm (11.8", 12.8", 7.9") respectively. A-axis rotation is +40˚ to -100˚, and the C-axis rotates a full 360˚. High-speed linear motors move the X-, Y- and Z-axes, while the rotary axes employ direct-drive motors. Rapid traverse speed for the X-, Y-, and Z-axes is 20 m/min (66 ft/min).
