Okuma’s MULTUS U series general-purpose multitask CNC lathes are designed to reduce setup time, improve accuracy and keep noncutting time to a minimum. Built with Okuma’s heavy-duty construction, the MULTUS U series lathes provide a sturdy platform for long-term rigidity and accuracy.

Rush offers the Models FC-200D, FC-300D, FC-500D and FC-200CNC polycrystalline tool grinders, which allow for economical manufacturing and regrinding of PCD, CVD, PCBN, carbide and HSS tools. These machines grind angles and radii on standard and special turning and milling inserts, boring tools, milling cutters, grooving tools, reamers and special tools. The rigid construction with a 3-hp, variable-speed grinding spindle provides for vibration-free grinding and fast stock removal.

The NEMI vacuum table is designed to hold parts secure using vacuum. All you do is remove a washer with a magnet or use our auto vacuum valve and place any one of the following on top of the vacuum grid table: a pod, 5/16" round gasketing, 1/4" stand off stock and vacuum pins.

The NEMI Tool Setter from Northern Engineering & Manufacturing Inc. enables off-line tool measurement, according to the website for the Zimmerman, Minn.-based company. The tool setter reportedly allows users to measure tools in seconds and be ready for the next job while the machine is still in production.

Designed for high-precision milling of the same part, Kent USA CNC knee mills are reportedly built to last on heavy-duty, solid foundations. The knee mills come standard with Acu-Rite MillPwr G2. This CNC can be used as a full function DRO, an intelligent power feed or a programmable CNC. This versatile system allows the operator to switch from full automatic mode to manual mode in just seconds.

Carbide-Roll burnishing tools by Elliott Tool Technology produce a mirror-like surface finish while eliminating secondary operations, machining setups, and operator labor and cost. These cost-effective, easy-to-use carbide rolls from Monaghan Tooling Group improve surface irregularities and tool marks, producing optimum surface finishes of 4-20 microinch (0.1 to 0.5 µm).

Heimatec announced that it will offer custom-designed and special tooling, in addition to its standard tooling line. Heimatec will design and build custom tools to suit specific requirements for all CNC lathes, regardless of application, brand or size.

New to the GMSi Group Inc. product line is a 4-axis CNC saw grinder for HSS saw blades. The new EMA-500 has six programs for grinding the following teeth forms: “A”, “BW”, “CW”, “ECO”, “F” and “O.”

Accudyne Products bar pullers, the EZ-Puller and the BigEZ, have a range of 0.093" to 1.750" and 1.625" to 3.00", respectively, and provide automatic bar stock advancement for CNC lathes.
