Laser Marking Range

A new laser range launch is an important breakthrough for SIC Marking. This range uses a ytterbium-doped fiber source designed by SIC Marking, a pulsed operating mode (30 to 60 kHz), a wavelength of 1,064 nm and an average power of 20W (available in 30W and 50W).

AMF Marking and Cleaning Tools

Heimatec Inc. announces immediate availability of marking and cleaning tools from its European partner Andreas Maier, under the AMF brand. The announcement was made by the president of Heimatec Inc., Preben Hansen. “This development brings additional products to our current customers and responds to the market needs for quality marking and cleaning tools for workpieces in CNC machining,” he observed.

Pattern Labeling

Leading Marks LLC announces a package for pattern labeling that improves legibility for cast-in identification, and provides cost savings through labor and material costs. A marking press and a custom designed accessory package impact legends in one stroke of the press rather than rotating wheels one character at a time.

MOPA Fiber Laser Source

Trotec is offering the MOPA fiber laser source as an option for its SpeedMarker galvo laser marking systems. MOPA technology opens up a new world of possibilities for marking metals and plastics because it allows the user to select pulse durations (between 4 and 200 ns), which provides a much wider range of laser parameters, more options for creating high-contrast, homogeneous markings, and the ability to mark colors on some metals.
