SICK is launching its newest safety laser scanner, outdoorScan3. It is the first safety laser scanner certified to IEC 62998 for use in outdoor applications.

Until now fabricators conducting surface finish measurements have had to use hand-held sensors or move a part to a dedicated measuring machine. To help companies reclaim lost production time, AIMS Metrology has equipped its Revolution Series LM coordinate measuring machine with a Renishaw 5-axis REVO 2 head and the new SFP2 probe. Because the SFP2 is interchangeable with other probe options, it gives manufacturers the flexibility to inspect a diverse range of features on one CMM.

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division announced the launch of a new wireless, inline, gap and flash measuring system. The NEXTSENSE CALIPRI C15 is the latest addition to the CALIPRI family of non-contact measurement systems, which use a patented sensing technique to rapidly and accurately measure gap and flush, seal gap and feature lines throughout the manufacturing process.

Cognex Corp. introduced the In-Sight Laser Profiler, an easy-to-use measurement system that verifies part dimensions. Cognex vision tools, accurate object detection and the EasyBuilder interface make the new profiler an intuitive and highly reliable tool for obtaining height, gap, position and angle measurements and detecting defects on the factory floor.

Cognex Corp. announced the launch of an end-to-end family of mobile scanning solutions. The latest additions to the product line, designed to solve logistics and manufacturing applications, include the MX-1502 Series vision-enabled mobile terminal, the MX-100 Series mobile barcode reader, and the Cognex Mobile Barcode Software Development Kit (SDK).
