Saw Blades

The new Wavy bandsaw blade from Bahco is a customized blade designed and engineered specifically for tough cutting applications, including high-nickel alloys, Rene-type materials and superalloys. The Wavy Bandsaw Blade concept can be applied to any Bahco bimetal or carbide bandsaw blade.

Simonds Saw has announced hat its European partner, WESPA, has introduced the ability to produce instant "blade-to-machine" data transfer of machine-specific cutting parameters for its Individual Performance Cutting (IPC) custom bandsaw blades program. This instant data transfer technology directly supports the Industry 4.0 concept.

A saw and track system for accurately cutting pressure vessels up to 60” in diameter in preparation for hydrostatic testing and complete fabrication is being introduced by Esco Tool. The Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack trolley lets operators rapidly cold cut vessels from 6” to 60” in diameter with ±1/16” accuracy to permit better bevels for subsequent welding.

The Bosch GCB10-5 Deep Cut bandsaw is the easy-to-handle tool to deliver low-spark, clean cuts in rebar, conduit and other metals. These precise cuts require limited rework because the 10-amp saw is powerful enough to handle professional-sized jobs on most materials.
