Unison Corp.'s Model 2650 is a Combination Cutting Tool/Burr Grinder which is a rigid, compact, highly precise machine designed for the production of small tools manufactured from numerous materials such as carbide, HSS, ceramic, stainless steel, etc. This grinder features a fully enclosed work area along with an automatic parts loading/unloading system for unattended parts manufacturing. Unison's Model 2650 is used by some of the largest manufacturers of surgical burrs and dental tools. The Model 2650 utilizes Unison's proprietary Version 7 software and control which sets the standard for ease of programming new tools.
Microsoft's Windows 7 Operating System works seamlessly with Unison's Version 7 Grinding Software allowing the machine's operator to quickly customize new tools and modify existing tool programs. Unison's software allows you to simply open another window on the machines monitor to begin programming a new tool, even while the machine is running production. The Model 2650 has the ability to store up to 10,000 different part programs in addition to 10,000 wheel packs which can easily be recalled on the machine's flat panel color monitor.
The Model 2650's software features a unique "AUTO OPTIMIZE" function designed specifically for reducing part cycle time with the touch of a button without having to modify your existing tool programs. Unison's Version 7 Software utilizes a real-time 3-D Parts Generator and incorporates a dual feedback diagnostic system for assisting in troubleshooting errors.
