When Dave Karlstadt decided to add on to his family's beef cattle business 6 years ago, what he had in mind was a machine shop. He invested in used Okuma America Corp. equipment, and found them to be strong and reliable for running large parts in the high tolerance range, Okuma reports in this brief video overview of Karlstadt Machining in Ney, Ohio. The shop went from a 30' x 40' building to a 12,000 sq. ft. facility within 5 years. Check out this video report from Okuma to learn more about how the Ohio shop now is speeding up production by bringing in new Okuma machines.
