Abtex Corp., Dresden, NY, a leading manufacturer of brush/machine deburring solutions for the manufacturing industry, recently promoted Damian Clemens to Systems Group Manager. Clemens joined Abtex in 2014 when his company—Nihmble Technologies—was acquired by Abtex.
With the acquisition, according to the company, Abtex significantly accelerated its growth in the design and production of robotic systems for manufacturing, systems integration, and process control. The move also placed Abtex at the forefront of deburring systems solutions.
In his new role, Clemens will oversee the design and development of all Systems Group technologies, which include traditional brush/machine deburring solutions as well as robotic systems. Nearly all of Abtex’s deburring systems are customized for automotive, aeronautics and medical-equipment manufacturers.
