Robert Nedler takes over as managing director at Hwacheon Machinery America, which covers North and South America. Nedler, who had served in sales and product manager roles since joining the company in 2012, now is in charge of sales, service and general operations at the Lincolnshire, Ill., company.

"A dynamic and results-focused sales leader," according to a company news release, Nedler brings more than 30 years of experience in identifying and successfully capitalizing on market opportunities while working for the STARRAG Group, DMG and Yamazen, and as co-owner of Tri-Star Automation, a machine tool dealership.

“As one of the world’s leading providers of high-quality machine tools and customer service," Nedler said, "Hwacheon will continue to deliver the products and services that make our customers more productive and more profitable. For more than 60 years, perseverance, honesty and devotion have been the principles behind the success of Hwacheon. Going forward, Hwacheon will build on these principles to further improve its competitiveness in the world market, while renewing the tradition of unparalleled service to its clients and maintain the quality of its product."

Among his primary goals, Nedler added, is the development of a responsive sales and service team to provide high-level support to the company's growing dealer network as well as to "our customers in the general machining, mold and die, energy, medical and aerospace markets."
