Glebar Co. Inc. adds 2 to its sales team

RAMSEY, NJ – Manufacturer and solutions provider of fully automated centerless and other types of turnkey precision grinding systems, Glebar Company, announced that it has added two more members to its Sales Team; Mark Kraus and Anthony Pickering. The company serves a wide range of industries including medical, automotive, aerospace, general industrial, nuclear and consumer goods. Glebar is known for its innovation and working with its customers to provide a standard platform of machines that are configured to provide custom clean sheet solutions built around a process tailored to a customer’s specific application.

CEO, Adam Cook states, “It’s an exciting time at Glebar and things are moving quickly. We’re closing in on our most successful year ever but aren’t sitting back.  We are excited to announce to new additions to our sales and business development team.  We have no doubt that Mark and Anthony will be valued solutions-based resources for our existing and future customers alike.”

Mark Kraus is the new Business Development Executive for Glebar’s medical business. Mark joined Glebar to focus on the creation of long-term value for Glebar and its customers, developing new markets, and cultivating new relationships in the medical industry. Based in the Twin Cities of MN, Mark has over 25 years of leadership experience in medical device product and business development, operations, quality assurance, supply chain, customer service, and general management positions. He has led several companies through periods of significant product expansion and growth. Mark served as Vice President of Operations for Neometrics, which was recently acquired by Heraeus Medical Components in 2015, a privately held OEM guidewire design and manufacturing company. He was also Vice President of operations for r4 Vascular, a privately held company focused on the development and commercialization of catheters and devices to serve the Vascular Access market and served as President of the Vascular Access and Delivery Systems business unit for Enpath Medical prior to being acquired by Greatbatch Medical.  Mark has specific responsibility for medical opportunities in the Minnesota and Wisconsin market, but will be an integral part of driving our medical business development efforts worldwide. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Anthony PickeringAnthony Pickering

Based in the mid-west (Michigan), Anthony Pickering is Glebar’s new Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest.  Anthony brings vast experience in Manufacturing Technology and Machine Solution Sales. Anthony also brings a proven track record and a high level of industry knowledge that will serve Glebar’s customer base very well. He has over 20 years of CNC machining experience in multiple roles ranging from Manufacturing Engineer to Sales.  His engineering background, expertise in production machining and automation and component analysis allows for a proactive consultative sales approach that leads to process improvement and true solutions for his customers.
