K2D-KeyToData GmbH (K2D) announces the availability of the latest version of InspectionXpert OnDemand 2.0. In today’s manufacturing market, companies are required to comply with increasingly rigid quality verification of their products. InspectionXpert software reportedly addresses this challenge by providing a software application that can be installed quickly, is easy to learn, and that can deliver the required manufacturing first-article inspection documents and related technical data packages in 50 to 90 percent less time.
InspectionXpert OnDemand 2.0 combines the previous solutions „InspectionXpert OnDemand for PDF“ and „InspectionXpert OnDemand for CAD“ in one product and supports PDF, TIF, AutoCAD DWG 2D, CATIA V5 2D + 3D, CATIA V6 3D, Creo / Pro/Engineer 3D as well as NX 2D files. Support for Creo/Pro/Engineer 2D drawings is coming soon and will be available within this year too! Users can quickly balloon these drawings/models and export dimensions to various inspection report forms (FAI, PPAP, AS9102 …). Unlike many of the other products on the market that provide only a single solution for each specific data set, InspectionXpert OnDemand combines all of the required document types in one application - 3D CAD Models, 2D CAD Drawings and PD /TIF data.
Beside an optimized and simplified user interface for an even easier utilization, PDF files can now be ballooned automatically with one single click. Users working with text searchable PDF files will benefit from huge time savings.
