Microlution MLTC Ultrafast Laser

Targeting the medical industry, the GF Machining Solutions Microlution MLTC is an ultrafast laser that provides manufacturers with exceptionally precise holemaking in metal and polymer tubes. As an economical and technically advanced micron-scale machining system, the MLTC is optimized for microscale holemaking and fine cutting without the creation of heat-affected zones in tubular workpieces. The machine’s compact, high-performance, ultrafast laser reduces cycle times and tooling costs to enable the production of precision parts in seconds.

The MLTC brings new production options to medical design and production. The combination of quick acceleration, exceptional stability, precise part handling and motion control with integrated part characterization and measurement deliver high accuracy, speed and quality for demanding medical part-production applications.

A precision-ground natural granite base and granite-mounted ironless rails support the MLTC’s high-precision beam delivery system. The machine also features high-precision linear motors and high-resolution Heidenhain glass scale
encoders along with an in-line workpiece touch probe, integrated power meter and high-speed optical camera.
