8620 Alloy Steel Retention Knobs
The use of 8620 ensures that the components will work harden over time, rather than becoming brittle as is the case with the use 9310 alloy steel. Single point threading ensures that the threads are balanced (lead-in/lead-out at 180 degrees) which is very difficult to achieve when rolling threads.
Live/Dead Center and Face Driver Repair
Riten can repair/restore to "like new" condition their standard centers and face drivers (as well as industry competitor's products) for a fraction of the cost of new tools. If practical repair is not possible, trade-in is available for live centers and face drivers at significant savings for new standard Riten one.
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Checking Gage
The gage is supplied in a carrying case with a program on a USB drive that runs in LK's CAMIO measuring and reporting software. The program includes DMIS measurement and alignment routines for bridge and horizontal arm CMMs, allowing the CCG cycle to run seamlessly on LK machines.
PM2 Pinion Series
The PM2 pinion option is available for gearboxes sizes 090 to 200 and, like the PM1 pinions, is available for a total of four gearbox series with a flanged output shaft: Among them is the PFHE coaxial planetary gearbox from the Economy Line, which comprises durable and powerful standard gearboxes with an excellent price/performance ratio.
PITreader Card Unit
The RFID transponders are available as freely writeable and preconfigured versions. A transparent window on the PITreader card enables users to still read the LED status indicator when the card is held up to it. If the company already uses RFID-capable cards, these can also be used in conjunction with PITreader card unit.
GN 9192 Down-Thrust Clamp
The down-thrust clamp GN 9192 made from case-hardened steel can be fastened to a machine table with T-slots or to a fixture plate. The clamping arm can then be swiveled by hand and positioned over the inserted workpiece in any position.
Explorer CNC Milling Machine
This small machine weighs 42 pounds and ships in a Pelican case for ease of storage, transportation and portability. It can run off a regular electrical plug, battery or generator — for use at home, in the office, in the classroom, garage or workshop and even on the road (or camping on a mountaintop).
A-811, G-901 Motion Controllers
Equipped with ultra-low noise PWM drives, the A-811 single axis controller integrates a closed loop servo controller with drive in a compact case. The G-901 controllers are also based on ACS hardware and EtherCat® connectivity, providing up to 1500W output per axis.
MP060, MP160 and MP260 Face
The MP060 face milling cutter with a great number of teeth (z) between 10 and 22, and with diameters from 40 mm, can be used for roughing and finishing large surfaces and flat shoulders.
Couplings
The recently added couplings of aluminum and stainless steel include designs for positive and non-positive connections. Multiple bore diameters, various, stiffness and hardness levels of the coupling body as well as an optional keyway allow very specific customization to the given use case.
MultiShape Ceramic Media
This media has a patented shape without any flat, parallel surface areas. On the one hand this unique design prevents media lodging in the work pieces, which can occur particularly in case of complex work pieces. Such lodged media can severely affect the finishing process and must frequently be removed by hand.
Flexium Software With Enhanced RTCP (Rotation Tool Center Point) Function
NUM's basic RTCP function, invoked by ISO code G151, offers a number of user-specified variants. The function can be activated with an inclined coordinate system or after a positioning move. In either case, the CNC system automatically calculates the mechanical offset to ensure that the tool center point is always in touch with the defined workpiece surface while the rotary axes are moving.
