W-1011-P/WL25 Copy Turn System
With this new tool, V or D-style inserts with just two cutting edges and lower stability (ISO VBMT, VCMT, DCMT) are replaced with triangular cutting inserts with three cutting edges and high stability. These three-edged inserts allow for a 50° undercut angle, ideal for profiling operations.
Making implants from tough-to-machine titanium
Machining medical components cost-effectively and reliably requires high-precision tools that have been tested in practice to meet specifications that often reaches the micron level.
Interface for Cutting Tool Measurement and Compensation
In developing a measurement and feedback process, for each parameter/feature listed, ANCA and ZOLLER have worked together to agree upon a fixed ZOLLER measurement process and a fixed ANCA grinding parameter adjustment to which it is directly linked. Wheel adjustments are not supported as an option for this method of compensation.
ELEMENT Platform
When designing the new ELEMENT the developers did not just increase the performance of the machine but also went a step further: not only did they use the extensive engineering resources and experience of Messer Cutting Systems, to profit from their many years of successful machine development but also looked forwards to incorporate the latest technologies available now and predict future trends.
Liquidtool Manager
The Sensor for metal cutting machines is compatible with coolants of all manufacturers and monitors them automatically. The Liquidtool Sensor regularly takes coolant from the machine tank and measures the sample with the built-in refractometer and thermometer. It stores the data gathered securely on the corresponding platform, allowing deviations to be detected at an early stage.
VpCI-330 Rust Preventative
VpCI-330 is clear, ready-to-use, low-viscosity, and designed for protection of metals in indoor and outdoor sheltered conditions. It performs effectively even under the adverse conditions of 100% relative humidity and in the presence of corrosive species such as chlorides. It protected for over 800 hours in humidity chamber testing and received a 1a rating in copper strip testing.
Carbide Grade Selection Chart
The 22.25" x 25.75" chart provides technical information on each of the grades such as grain structure, hardness, cobalt content, etc. as well as the materials applications they are best suited for.
