HF-5 Hose Band Marking Fixture
The clever design features 5 rows of clamping with 12 "fingers" on each row that flex and conform to part dimensional variations as well. One toggle lever clamps all five bands and draws them down securely for the dot peen marking operation. Custom configurations and pneumatic powered designs are also available.
RESOLUTE Encoders
The encoders are offset and coupled directly to the drive, as the motors are very small. A motor has a rotor and a stator component, so what we do is couple the ring to the rotor component. As the motor starts to spin, it accurately rotates the ring with respect to the encoder readhead, which is placed outside the entire mechanism.
#9680176 Deluxe Vertical Turret Milling Machine
The Turret Milling Machine guarantees rigidity for a lifetime of vibration free accuracy due to the extra fine Meehanite castings.
September cutting tool orders up 14.7% compared to August
September 2020 U.S. cutting tool consumption totaled $156.1 million. This total, as reported by companies participating in the Cutting Tool Market Report collaboration, was up 14.7 percent from August's $136.1 million and down 20.5 percent when compared with the $196.3 million reported for September 2019.
ToolConnect
This system uses a customized RFID read station and an intuitive interface tailored to the user's tool load and unload process. The ToolConnect HMI displays all user-specified tool and process info, along with a tool image to easily verify that the correct tool is being loaded.
LVC200 Automated Video Measurement System
Ideal for measuring large components or multiple small components, quickly, easily and accurately, the LVC range offers faster measurement, high accuracy levels, and benefits from Vision Engineering's consistent focus on ease of use for all its products.n
Minimicromar3 Gauge
The Minimicromar3 is designed for measuring external diameters, positioning and length for both smooth and interrupted surfaces. It can measure workpieces from 25mm to 42.5mm with a measuring range of ±100 µm and a repeatability of ≤0.1 µm. It is designed with a high degree of protection against coolant and abrasive substances.
No. 1054 500°F (260°C) Top-Loading Oven
The Grieve top-loading oven features 6" insulated walls, 16-gauge aluminized steel interior and a bottom reinforced for 800 lb. capacity.
TURNPWR Control
On the new TURNPWR, a 12.1" high-resolution display boasts a screen layout that is clearly arranged and user friendly. Preview graphics in the editor illustrate the individual machining steps for programming the contour as well as corresponding tool path generated using only dimensions pulled from a production drawing. It also accepts DXF files.
Inovatools’ tooling eases aluminum machining
A new line of aluminum tools from Inovatools utilizes the ta-C thin-layered coating that the company says makes the process of machining aluminum and its alloys more productive and cost-effective.
Debunking concerns about finishing tools used in CNC applications
With new advances in abrasive technology, machining center operators are able to complete surface finishing simultaneously with other machining operations, to speed cycle times, improve quality and save on off-line finishing time and costs. The abrasive finishing tools can be easily integrated into CNC machines carousels or tool holding systems.
Racing teams win with the right tools
Don Schumacher Motorsports (DSM) is one of the country's most successful motorsports companies, both on and off the track. Tooling from Sandvik Coromant helped the company achieve some impressive goals.
