TIN Coated Thread Gages have high dimensionally stable HSS construction with TIN coating that increases hardness and wear resistance, which extends lifespan and reduces the frequency of calibrations and replacements, saving time and cost. The Digimar 816 CLT offers a secure and convenient data transfer process, allowing for wireless or USB cable data transfer via the MarConnect duplex interface. It also transmits a measuring equipment ID, ensuring measurement results are traceable. An integrated PDF memory enables the creation of complete files directly on the device without the need for additional software or transfer to a computer, streamlining the documentation process.

The W643JZ depth gage features a knife edge base and a needle point contact that has been hardened and ground. The conical point which is 1/2" long with a 40-degree angle can be precisely positioned for close work due to a cutout on the knife base. All three of the new Starrett wireless electronic depth gages are accurate to +/- .001"/ 0.03mm, and have a 0.0005"/ 0.01mm resolution. Measurement ranges for each of the gages are as follows: the W640JZ offers a range of 0-.500" (0-13mm), the W643JZ offers a range of 0-.125" (0-3mm) and the W644JZ offers a range of 0-3" (0-75mm).

The gage is supplied in a carrying case with a program on a USB drive that runs in LK's CAMIO measuring and reporting software. The program includes DMIS measurement and alignment routines for bridge and horizontal arm CMMs, allowing the CCG cycle to run seamlessly on LK machines. However, it is easy for operators of other 3D measuring platforms using different software to program a probing cycle around the gage to check for machine accuracy.
