Deburring

MultiShape Ceramic Media

This media has a patented shape without any flat, parallel surface areas. On the one hand this unique design prevents media lodging in the work pieces, which can occur particularly in case of complex work pieces. Such lodged media can severely affect the finishing process and must frequently be removed by hand. On the other hand, the shape with its rounded surface areas allows the surface refinement of work pieces, which to-date could not be handled by mass finishing at all or only with very complicated operational setups. This includes components with difficult-to-reach surface areas like tight radii, undercuts, notches and slits, which can frequently be found in stamped and bent components.

WTX High-Feed Drill

The innovative pyramid geometry of the WTX ensures extremely aggressive and precise drilling performance. In fact, the WTX achieves positioning accuracy of 0.03 mm and excellent centering properties. Higher levels of drilling quality, hole tolerance, surface finish, and positioning accuracy increase component quality, to the extent that there is no need for potential reworking. Furthermore, low burr formation when entering and exiting the hole eliminates the need for time-consuming subsequent deburring.

Sheenus ZERO Ultrasonic Polisher

For operator control and comfort, the Sheenus ZERO provides variable amplitude between 19 - 29 kHz per second and produces minimal hand vibration. Conveniently portable and easy to maneuver, the Sheenus ZERO controller weighs just 3 lb 5 oz, or 29% less than NSK’s previous ultrasonic polisher. The resin body handpiece, lightweight and ergonomically designed, enables effortless, precision work over long periods of time.
