Drill Heads

DMH Drill Head Line

The DMH drill head features a fracture resistant design that is suitable for applications that involve drilling holes through thin-walled sections of workpieces. In normal circumstances, thin walls tend to spring back on the drill after the drill pierces through and exits the hole. In the process, uncut material shifts and forms exit burrs that impose extra burdens on the drill edge. These problems inflict damage on drill corners, shortening tool life. The DMH drill head’s geometry protects drill corners from fracture damage, providing extended tool life and reduced downtime.

24 DrillMeister DMH Drill Heads

The DMH drill head geometry is designed to protect drill corners and provide effective chip evacuation, making the drill head suited for applications that involve drilling holes through thin plates. The increased cutting edge strength resists thin-plate snapback and wear from exit burrs, preventing drill edges from fracture damage during machining for minimum machine downtime. The strong cutting edge also makes the DMH drill head suitable for drilling extremely hard metals.

AddMeisterDrill Expanded Drill Head Line

Featuring superior cutting performance of solid carbide drills and the ease-of-use of the DrillMeister exchangeable head drill series, AddMeisterDrill small-diameter exchangeable head drills allow quick and secure exchanges of extremely small drill heads thanks to its dedicated key. In addition, unique coolant outlets furnished on the drill body provides an increased ratio of through-coolant supply for improved chip evacuation and process security.

P3 Collet

The anti-friction coating reduces radial distortion helping improve run-out. Parlec P3 ER collets have a repeatably accuracy of 0.0001” and are sealed for coolant pressures up to 2,000 PSI due to a special slotting design. Parlec P3 ER collets are available in ER11, 16, 20, 25, 32 and 40 in inch and metric sizes and are meant to be used with on-size tooling.
