Drill Heads
Walter DC160 X∙treme Evo Advance solid carbide drill
The DC160 carbide drill features exceptional positioning accuracy. This is achieved with its innovative thin web at the point and rapid guidance in the hole due to the advanced positioning of the double margins. The drill’s unique point geometry, deeper chip gash and the new coating lead to a universal applicability in steels, stainless steels, aluminums and super alloys such as Inconel and Titanium alloys with exceptional tool life.
Only One Focus: Getting the Job Done
The video proves the point—YG-1’s ONLY ONE end mill provides superior cutting performance to cut where others can’t. Watch how coated carbide breaks down halfway through the cut and witness how HSS CO8 can’t stand the heat and stops dead in its tracks. And when it comes to unstable cutting conditions, the coated PM 60 ONLY ONE, stands up where brittle carbide breaks down. Need a tool to handle tough materials—see how the ONLY ONE can be your best investment at up to 30% less than the cost of carbide.
GEN3SYS XT Pro Material-specific Geometries and Coating Combinations Deliver Premium Results
GEN3SYS XT Pro high penetration drills feature inserts designed specifically for steels (P), cast irons (K), and non-ferrous materials (N). The material-specific inserts for steel and cast iron have AM400 series coatings providing increased wear resistance and tool life. Inserts for non-ferrous materials are coated with titanium nitride. Diameters range from 11 mm (0.4331 inches) to 35 mm (1.378 inches), and are available in 0.1 mm (0.004 inch) increments. The flute design improves chip evacuation and the coolant configuration directs additional coolant to the cutting zone.

New 4TEX Drill Delivers Superior Chip Formation in Difficult Applications
The new 4TEX® drill is engineered to deliver optimal chip formation and evacuation and provide higher penetration rates than standard twist drills for light duty machines. This indexable insert drill excels in applications with interrupted cuts or when drilling on angled surfaces. The design increases core strength, improving hole size and straightness. Dual twisted coolant outlets improve penetration rates by enhancing coolant flow and generating superior chip formation and evacuation.
