Tungaloy is expanding its SNG line of internal grooving tools to include GMR, a new insert geometry that enables effective chip control and evacuation in internal grooving applications.

Tool-Flo presents FloCut, a multifunctional system for both external and internal applications. Its unique locking system yields increased stability, critical for side turning applications.

Make deep-hole operations productive and reduce the risk of scrapping large, expensive workpieces with the new GL threading and grooving heads for Steadyline ø1" (25 mm)-diameter turning and boring bars from Seco Tools. The new heads extend the range of GL Heads and Steadyline bars, increase production accuracy, improve surface finishes and reduce downtime from insert indexing and head changing.

Kyocera Precision Tools expands the popular KGD grooving system lineup with new integral holders with 1” max groove depths for 2” bar stock.

Kyocera Precision Tools expands the GBF grooving series for small parts machining to include new coolant-through (JCT-series) holders and a GL chipbreaker for larger groove widths. The new KGBF-JCT style holders feature internal coolant holes that direct coolant closer to the cutting edge from the top of the insert.

Kyocera Precision Tools expands insert lineup of the GBA grooving system with new insert grade PR1625 for steel and stainless steel grooving applications. PR1625 is a designed with high hardness and toughness with a highly stable carbide base material and MEGACOAT NANO coating technology for excellent wear resistance when grooving light interrupted to heavily interrupted cuts.

The Walter Cut MX grooving inserts deliver high levels of flatness and surface quality with their tangentially-mounted arrangement in the G3011/G3021 holders. Four cutting edges per insert multiply user productivity and, if one cutting edge breaks, the other cutting edges remain usable.
