No. 852 is an 850° F (454° C), high-temperature walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for heat treating and baking varnish at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 60” W x 96” D x 72” H.

R. Hueter Co, Beverly, Mass., a CNC machine shop specializing in male and female RF connector contact production, has added a Lucifer Furnaces’ heat treating oven to meet their growing heat treating needs. Adam Hueter, operations manager, chose Lucifer Furnaces because of their reputation for delivering high-quality products at an affordable price.

No. 1040 is a 2,200° F (1,204° C), inert-atmosphere pit furnace from Grieve, which is used for heat treating automotive parts in baskets at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this furnace measure 36” wide x 36” deep x 48” high.

Lucifer Furnaces Inc. has designed and delivered a dual-chamber furnace ideal for heat treating high-speed steels. The HS8 series, built with rugged 12-gauge sheet steel and reinforced throughout, heats to 2,450° F in the upper chamber with silicon-carbide heating elements mounted across the roof and below the hearth.

No. 876 is a 500º F gas-heated belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for drying brass and aluminum parts at a customer’s facility. The workspace dimensions of this unit measure 22”W x 126”D x 15”H.

Lucifer Furnaces delivered a dual-chamber, high-temp furnace to Compacting Tooling Inc. (CTI), McKeesport, Pa. Model HS8-181224 is a custom size designed to meet Compacting Tooling’s load requirements.

No. 1041 is a 1,400° F (760° C) inert atmosphere tempering furnace from Grieve, currently used for heat treating at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 48” W x 72” D x 48” H. 120 KW are installed in nickel-chrome wire coils supported by a stainless steel frame, while a 9,600-cfm, heat-resistant alloy recirculating blower powered by a 15-hp motor provides vertical upward airflow.

No. 1042 is a 2,000° F (1093°C), gas-fired heavy-duty furnace from Grieve. Workspace dimensions of this furnace measure 30” W x 60” D x 30” H. The furnace offers 750,000 BTU/HR, which are installed in four modulating natural gas burners with a floor mounted combustion air blower.
