J.W. Winco, Inc. offers GN 417 metric zinc die-cast indexing plunger latch mechanisms with rest position. The RoHS compliant indexing plunger latch mechanisms are used for applications where the plunger has to stay in its retracted position.

J.W. Winco Inc. offers GN 421.12 metric size, technopolymer plastic, hollow knurled knobs with a stainless steel threaded stud and swivel thrust pad. Temperature resistant to 194° F (80° C), the RoHS-compliant hollow knurled knobs have a ball end whose diameter is smaller than the core diameter of the thread.

Siemens has expanded its drive portfolio for servo applications to include the Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors, which are for use with the Sinamics S120 drive system. Aerotech’s QNP2 series XY, parallel-kinematic, piezo positioning stages combine subnanometer resolution, high dynamics, and excellent geometric performance in a compact, low-profile package. The QNP2-100-XYA has a 50 mm x 50 mm clear aperture with closed-loop travels up to 100 µm x 100 µm (open-loop travels to 120 µm x 120 µm).

Based on the line of drylin W linear plain bearings, igus has introduced linear rails bent to custom radii, along with adaptable carriages that can self-align between straight linear runs and curves without binding. According to Matt Mowry, product manager for drylin linear and drive technology at igus Inc., this new addition to the drylin W toolkit allows for “entirely new possibilities in applications including marine, aerospace, and stage technologies.”
