Mazak offers the HCN-5000 horizontal machining center with the company’s Multi-Pallet Pool (MPP) system. Thanks to the compact MPP system, shops that lack the floor space necessary to accommodate a conventional linear horizontal pallet stocker now have the ability to achieve continuous unmanned, lights-out operations.

The high-speed Mazak FJV-35/80 double-column vertical machining center offers high precision over extended periods of operation with enhanced performance, Intelligent Functions and rigid machine construction. Suitable for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, construction, die and mold, and heavy machine, the versatile FJV-35/80 accommodates up to 6,614 lbs. on a 88.19" x 29.53" work table.

Siemens' new Sinumerik MC controller is a universal, open, industrial PC-based CNC system. Its optimized motion control, high-performance automation and integrated Windows 10 operating system make it a suitable control for fabrication and specialty machines, including woodworking, stone-cutting, laser and even conventional basic grinding machines. With an open operating concept, this new control system is also suitable for certain additive manufacturing, metal forming, adhesive applications, plate cutting, grinding and laser or waterjet cutting.

Camfil APC introduces the Gold Series X-Flo Package (GSXP) dust and fume collectors designed for fast, easy integration with CNC laser and plasma cutting systems. The GSXP collector is built on core technology that has been proven in the field for more than 20 years with the original Gold Series collector.

Caron Engineering’s DTect-IT was first introduced in 2016 as a product primarily used for detecting vibration levels and irregularities anywhere on a CNC machine tool or fixture; with featured applications of bearing analysis and bar feeder vibration detection (and correction). DTect-IT has become even more versatile since its inception, now capable of communicating with multiple sensors, including vibration, strain (to measure force), high precision power, and analog, which allows connecting any sensor with a 0 to ±10 VDC analog signal, and 4 to 20 mA current signals.

Energid released Version 5.5 of the Actin software development kit (SDK), an even more powerful and easier-to-use version of the industry’s only real-time adaptive robotic motion control and path planning toolkit. Actin Version 5.5 adds Actin Viewer enhancements, Motion Script updates and G-code support, making it even easier for robotic systems developers to focus on the robot’s tasks rather than joint movement and paths.

BLM Group USA’s TS72 universal cold sawing CNC system for cutting tubes, bars and profiles features an automatic axis control function enables automated changeover for non-stop, unattended production. Particularly well-suited to small batch sizes, all adjustments and cutting parameters – material, blade type and tube dimensions – are all automatic so there is zero downtime and big productivity gains.

The new GCX Linear builds on the best aspects of ANCAs proven technology to offer a purpose-built solution for manufacturing and sharpening skiving cutters.
