Multiple-Axis CNC Grit Blaster

Guyson's new multiple-axis CNC grit blaster was designed for a prep prior to coat application in the aerospace industry. The heart of this system is based around the blast manipulation with 4-axis controls directed by a Siemens CNC system and roof-mounted 2-axis cartesian gantry with table positional capability of 0° to 360°.

HOMMEL-ETAMIC Wavemove

The Jenoptik Industrial Metrology division offers a fully automated measuring station, which can be operated directly by staff on the production line. The HOMMEL-ETAMIC wavemove combines high-precision roughness and contour measurement technology with innovative CNC technology and eight fully automatic CNC axes to measure both roughness and contours in a single measuring run, recording as many data points as necessary.

NUMgrind addition to Flexium CAM suite

The new NUMgrind package is specifically designed to simplify the creation of G code programs for CNC machine tools through the use of a highly intuitive graphical human machine interface (HMI), conversational-style ‘fill in the blanks’ type dialogs or a combination of the two. NUMgrind simplifies machine tool programming for an extensive range of tasks, including external and internal cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, wheel shaping and dressing.

SL-II Series Slant-Bed CNC Lathes

Milltronics USA Inc. says its new SL-II series slant-bed CNC lathes are fast, accurate and affordable. The SL-II Series are available in three models: the SL6-II, the SL8-II and the SL10-II. Designed as machines that anyone in the shop can run, they feature Milltronic’s latest series 9000 CNC, which can be programmed either conversationally or with industry standard G and M codes.

Hydraulic Clamp Force Gage

JM Performance Products Inc. has engineered its patented hydraulic Clamp Force Gage to provide a quick and inexpensive method to regularly check and measure the clamping/pulling force of the spindle drawbar. The hydraulic gage instantly reads in ft/lbs the amount of pull force being applied to the toolholder.
