Synthis T6 All-in-One SCARA Robot

Epson Robots announced the expansion of its award-winning T-series with the Synthis T6 All-in-One SCARA robot. The new robot offers a way to automate factories without wasting time or money on expensive, complex, slide-based solutions. Available at the low price of $9,495, this innovative alternative installs in minutes and virtually eliminates any space-constraint issues.

High Torque Retention Knobs Offer Added Safety

Safety in design is critical to CNC milling operations end products, as well as to the machine’s profitability. As the trajectory of today’s new milling technology trends toward machines producing extremely high speeds/high rpm within a smaller overall foot print–potential safety issues can’t be ignored. Loose tools moving fast could present the potential for a lot of damage to the machine and workpiece.

SV-1000 Digital Video Borescope

Toshiba America Information Systems’ (TAIS) Imaging Systems Division introduces a small, digital video borescope with illumination, the SV-1000. The small, water-resistant chip-on-tip inspection camera measures only 1.6 mm diam. and features an integrated LED light for illumination within the 1.9-meter flexible shaft.

V-738 XY Translation Stage

The V-738 XY translation stage is designed to meet high positioning accuracy demands, for applications such as industrial automation, laser processing and flat panel display test and manufacturing. The mechanical design is based on a three-piece arrangement for improved geometric performance. In contrast to XY-stage assemblies where two single-axis translation stages are bolted together, the integrated, planar design of the V-738 provides better orthogonality (<100µrad) and straightness/flatness (2µm).
