Tiger Bonded Abrasives

Weiler Abrasives Group has announced the expansion of its Tiger bonded abrasives offering. The expanded line of products, manufactured in the company’s Slovenian facility, reportedly provides users with a wider breadth of solutions for their most demanding grinding and cutting needs.

BITEC PLUS Saw Blade

Simonds Saw has introduced a bandsaw blade designed to provide low vibration and high efficiency cutting of steel grating applications. The new BITEC PLUS blade, manufactured by Simonds’ partner WESPA in Germany, features a wide band in a variety of widths from 1.25” to 2.0”, which provides maximum beam strength for higher blade tension and cutting rates, making it less susceptible to damage.

NC Feed Systems

Dake Corp. introduces their line of NC feed systems, giving shops everywhere the ability to increase productivity, decrease setup time, reduce operator error and reduce waste. Using the Dake feed systems, any semiautomatic ironworker, cold saw, drill press or punching machine can easily be turned into a fully automatic production tool, according to the company. A free-standing control panel with an easy-to-read LCD digital display and infinitely variable programming gives operators endless opportunities to enhance their metalworking capabilities.

KASTOwin saw line

With its new KASTOwin range, KASTO Inc., Export, Penn., presents a flexible, universal solution for serial and production sawing of solid materials, tubes and profiles, according to a recent company news release. Four automatic band saw models were presented at the company's 170th anniversary event. The full line will be on display for the first time at AMB 2016, an international exhibition for metalworking set for Sept. 13-17 in Stuttgart, Germany.

MechaLogix Cosen Predictive Computing

Cosen Saws USA, Charlotte, N.C., has introduced MechaLogix Cosen Predictive Computing, a cloud-based system that reportedly revolutionizes the category with an innovative feature that monitors the performance of a blade and can accurately forecast the number of remaining cutting hours left before a saw blade dulls and is no longer cutting with precision or a complete breakage.
