Press Release – Shannon Grismore has filled a position of Application Specialist at GWS Tool Group.
In this role, Shannon will be responsible for supporting GWS distributors and key metalworking customers in the application of GWS high-performance cutting tool solutions. Cutting tools from GWS include both standard and purpose-built tooling, such as end mills, form tools, step tools, drills, reamers, taps, and turning inserts.
“Shannon’s well-rounded background fits the mold of a GWS Applications Specialist perfectly” said Adam Lafferty, Executive Vice President of Sales. “His background in metalworking and programming, coupled with his industry experience in solid round and indexable cutting tools, will add tremendous value to our customers.”
Grismore started his career 22 years ago as a machinist and programmer within metalworking shops both big and small. After honing his skills on the shop floor, he spent 7 years in the cutting tool sales and application field, helping customers improve processes and ultimately their bottom line. Shannon will be responsible for supporting GWS distributors and end users in Indiana and Ohio.
