Vero Software Ltd., Cheltenham, England, hired Wisconsin-based Applications Engineer Michael Welk to provide technical support for its Edgecam and Surfcam CAM solutions. Welk worked for 15 years as a computer-assisted tool and die engineer before joining the ranks of Surfcam reseller Programming Plus Inc., for which he provided technical support and training in the latest CAD and CAM technologies for another 15 years.
“I'm honored to bring my wealth of Surfcam Traditional knowledge to Vero, both for support and training,” Welk said. “Vero's online tools allow me to stick my nose into customer's computers to help them with anything from installing licenses to moving their CNC posts where they belong and other software configurations quickly and accurately. I look forward to keeping Surfcam Traditional the force that it is in America and beyond for many, many years to come while expanding my own knowledge within the Vero family of software.”
