Norton |Saint-Gobain Abrasives offers a new line of Norton carbide burs for surface removal, for those more demanding production runs with less changeovers. The Norton double-cut carbide burs quickly and comfortably remove surface stock, weld splatter, burrs, and are for chamfering applications, along with medium to light cleaning.
The specialty designed geometries of the Norton double-cut carbide burs suit growing demands for stainless steel, steel, cast steel and composites applications offering fast stock removal and long product life, providing optimal efficiency and a great price. Carbide burs can be used on hand-held tools like the Norton Die Grinder or automated CNC machines.
The Norton carbide bur line encompasses 30 different parts and offered in seven types including; SA cylindrical without end cut, SB cylindrical with end cut, SC ball-nosed cylindrical, SD ball shape, SF ball-nosed tree, SG tree with taper, and SL ball-nosed cone style. A kit is available with the most popular five bur types for smaller job requirements.
